Valentine’s Day

Living in a city like New York requires to take part in every amazing thing that always happens over here. This includes of course, Valentine’s Day tradition. Who did not hear about this celebration of love full of red hearts and sweet chocolates ? Roses, teddy bears and balloons? You can not avoid a day like this! You are not allowed to! With all its controversies, l think this tradition is a perfect way to show your love and affection to your significant other or to your friends. What is a life without love? Skeptical people would say that we don’t need a particular day to show our love but…if we have this day already…why wouldn’t we keep it and make it memorable? It is a great atmosphere anywhere in the city on Valentine’s Day! Men with beautiful bouquets of flowers in their hands ….girls holding ballons and sharing big smiles and pretty faces…sweet stores selling delicious yummy heart-shaped cakes and cookies and candies….restaurants organizing romantic dinners for couples….florists delivering flowers…. and so much more! If we do not join any of this and can’t resonate with such a great celebration that means we, humans, have lost our deep emotions, our hearts and our feelings. So, can we just keep it alive and enjoy it though ? HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! P.S. I am a Valentine’s “baby” and actually never been able to fully enjoy it because l have a B-day to celebrate….
